“First off, words cannot describe how incredible Joy is to work with. She exceeded my expectations.

We came to her home studio for newborn pictures when our son was only 11 days old. He was on a very specific feeding schedule and we had to feed him twice during our session. Joy was soooooooo sweet, she was understanding, patient, didn’t make us feel rushed, and we were able to continue with our feeding routine.

Second, she was sooooo incredible when handling our son. She was gentle and sweet. The temperature in the studio was set specific to the baby since they are being undressed and dressed into different outfits, she was playing white noise as we do at home to keep him calm as he slept, and she knew exactly how to calm him when he became a bit fussy.

As for Joy’s photographs, all I can say is AMAZING!!! My husband and I had a few props we wanted to use in the photo session and Joy incorporated all of them perfectly. She also has several props herself, all of which are beautiful and we also used in the photo session. When we received the final photos they were just AMAZING! Joy caught images of our baby smiling which, I have no idea how she managed that. The lighting, poses, angles, and quality of EVERY SINGLE, yes every single photo was PERFECT and flawless. She also made us a beautiful announcement card which we had printed and mailed out to all our family and friends.

I highly recommend working with Joy.

Before choosing to work with Joy, I called a dozen other photographers regarding newborn pictures, and they all talked about the $$$$ and number of minutes/hour(s) per session, and if I had to feed my baby during the session I would have to pay extra $$$$ If the session took longer, that they would not pause the session for a feeding or diaper change. Joy was the complete opposite which made this experience so much fun.

But beyond all of this, the quality of Joys work is better than what I’ve seen elsewhere. Our pictures came out better than perfect and I couldn’t be happier.

“We did our daughters newborn photos with Joy and she was so wonderful to work with! She has a HUGE variety of props, wraps, headbands, beanies, and outfits in every color and style you could think of. Most of what she has is hand made. Her studio is out of her home that is very comfortable and inviting. Our baby girl was 7 days old for her photos and Joy was extremely patient between feeding her/changing her and waiting for her to be comfortable. She was so gentle and sweet while working with our little girl. The photos turned out beautiful and did not take long to get back. Joy is very personable and passionate about her work. We would highly recommend her!”
